Who are we?

Lewis Adams

Producer/Host

Lewis has been presenting for Phoenix FM since 2008 and has been hosting Local Chats since 2014. He was a writer for the 2014 Channel 31 documentary Writers in Action based on that year’s Bendigo Writers Festival and was on the publishing team for the 2016 edition of the anthology Painted Words.

A lover of novelty, Lewis regularly puts his hand up to try new things. This led to a variety of places such as representing Bendigo in a citizen jury for Infrastructure Victoria and suiting up as Bendigo Advertiser mascot “Kooka” for Bendigo’s Carols by Candlelight at Rosalind Park.

He has a Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing.

Richard Hill

Director of Photography

Richard is a keen photographer, having had numerous photographs published in the Bendigo Advertiser since 2002. He was also the Bendigo Student Association’s event photographer between 2006 and 2010.

During his studies at NMIT in Collingwood in 2012, Richard gained experience behind the camera on productions such as C31 Melbourne’s Newsline as well as several programs for TVN. He is the founder of Calder Media, a local photography and video production business.

He has a Diploma of Screen and Media.
